On top of the world
This blog is now the top search term on Google for "Dreadful Rauw". This is not a major accomplishment, considering Dreadful Rauw is a very, very obscure literary reference, but still, at least on the internet, I'm more relevant than the deceased grandfather of a fictional manifestation of noise.

I'm proud to say I'm not one of the Googling wonderers - The Phantom Tollbooth has been one my favourite books for a long time. I'm just thrilled to find evidence that someone else has read it!
Ah, but what comes up when someone enters Dr. Kakafonous A. Dischord?
Or the awful Dynne?
The sad thing about Phantom Tollbooth is that my son still isn't old enough for me to read it to him. I bought a copy to read to him before he was born. Currently, he won't sit still long enough for Goodnight Moon, let alone a full novel.
I think it's pretty obvious that I love the Phantom Tollbooth, especially the passage both you and I have taken our monikers from. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who loves Dr. Dischord!
